As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled remote Asset Manager based in the United Kingdom to oversee and manage our equipment, tools and resources.

You will be responsible for managing all company assets, ensuring efficient utilisation, proper maintenance and accurate tracking. You will play a key role in ensuring that all tools and equipment are readily available, well maintained and aligned with operational needs. This role will require close collaboration with our operation teams.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing all company assets, ensuring efficient utilisation, proper maintenance, and accurate tracking.   • Manage the acquisition, allocation, maintenance, and disposal of all company assets including diagnostic tools and electrical test equipment.
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date asset register, ensuring all assets are tracked and accounted for.
  • Oversee regular maintenance, inspection, and calibration of tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Work closely with the management team to plan for asset purchases, upgrades and replacements as needed.
  • Monitor the utilisation of assets to minimise downtime and optimise efficiency.
  • Prepare asset reports for management, including depreciation schedules and budget forecasting.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to prevent shortages and delays in service.
  • Ensure all assets comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate insurance cover for assets and handle claims processing where necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in asset management, preferably within the automotive or electrical diagnostics industry.
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial processes related to asset management, including cost control and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with UK health and safety regulations related to equipment and asset management.
  • Full UK driving licence.
