Gearbox ECU Repair

At Ecutech we diagnose, repair and clone automatic and DSG/ S-Tronic etc gearbox control modules including TCU and TCM units. All work is carried out in house with no reliance on third parties.

We repair faults such as no communication, gear selection issues, shifting errors and immobiliser related problems. This includes full wiring checks and repairs across CAN, LIN and power lines, as well as fixing internal faults like damaged drivers, failed voltage regulators or corrupted EEPROM and flash memory.

When cloning, we extract and transfer software, coding and immobiliser data from the original unit to a replacement, even if the original module is partially damaged. We use specialist equipment to access modules on the bench and carry out safe, verified programming with correct checksums.

If the issue is software, wiring or hardware, we can isolate it and fix it properly without the need for dealer coding or replacement guesswork.
